A tiny cat that helps you work smoother
Tinypaw lives in a corner of your desktop. When it notices you bouncing back and forth between the same apps, it offers one small, explainable tip — and then gets out of your way.
Local only · starts paused · no account, no cloud, no AI calls
Three tiny steps
No setup wizard, no account. Tinypaw is a little cat, a little card, and nothing else until you say so.
Wake the cat
It starts asleep. Nothing is observed until you click Start observation, and you can pause again any time.
Work like normal
Every few seconds it notes which app is in front — just the app's name, never what's inside it.
Get one gentle tip
When a real pattern shows up, the cat shows you a tip with the evidence behind it. Rate it, or switch it off for good.
Small nudges, clear reasons
Each tip says why it appeared. There's a two-tip daily limit, cooldowns per tip, and quiet hours from 22:00 to 08:00.
Snap side by side
Ping-ponging between two apps? Snap them next to each other so both stay in view.
Taskbar shortcuts
Rotating through a handful of apps? Win + 1–9 jumps straight to each one.
Take a little break
Been heads-down for a long stretch? A stretch, some water, a look out the window.
A cat that minds its own business
Everything stays in one file on your own PC. The app makes no network calls at all.
What it keeps
- The name of the app in front, like “chrome” or “Code”
- Approximate daily time per app, for 7 days
- Tips and your ratings, for 30 days
- Your preferences and excluded apps
What it never touches
- Window titles, URLs, files or page contents
- Keystrokes, clipboard, screen or microphone
- The cloud, accounts or AI services
- Your apps — it suggests, it never acts
Curious questions
Short answers to the things people ask first.
Does it start with Windows?
No. Tinypaw never registers itself to start automatically. You open it when you want it, and quitting it really quits it.
Will it get in the way of games or meetings?
It ignores full-screen windows, the lock screen and idle time, and it never keeps your PC awake. You can drag the cat anywhere, hide it to the tray, or snooze tips.
Can I keep some apps private?
Yes. Add any app to the exclusion list and it's filtered out before anything is saved. To keep private browsing private, exclude the whole browser.
Where is my data?
In a single local database under your Windows user profile. You can see exactly what's stored in the settings window and delete it any time.
Why “Tinypaw”?
Because it's a very small cat with very small paws — a munchkin, with short little legs. It taps you on the shoulder, gently, and only when it helps.
